Job Summary:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a long-term acute care setting, supporting both medical and behavioral health populations. Serve as a float nurse, adapting to various units and patient needs to ensure optimal care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Render comprehensive nursing care to patients in LTAC, LTC, skilled nursing, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry, behavioral health, rehabilitation, and Stepdown units.
• Administer medications, monitor patient status, and document care interventions accurately.
• Support patient safety through diligent observation, assessment, and implementation of care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment and discharge planning.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, including attendance, punctuality, and documentation standards.
• Ensure appropriate use of clinical skills in diverse settings within scope of practice.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Maryland LVN/LPN license at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of LVN/LPN experience; LTAC experience preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in locked-unit care, behavioral health, and medical-surgical settings.
• Be comfortable supporting both medical and behavioral health patient populations.
• BLS certification required; Cerner and PointClickCare experience preferred.
• Maintain current certifications and provide references upon request.
