Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced RN to provide specialized care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The role involves floating to related units, managing complex neonatal conditions, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor neonatal patients' condition, responding promptly to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments including IV therapy, central line care, and ventilator management.
• Communicate effectively with family members and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status.
• Document clinical assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in EPIC.
• Float to PICU, Peds, and NBN units as required, providing appropriate care based on skill set.
• Adhere to facility policies for call-offs, holiday coverage, and scheduling requests.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active NJ or Compact nursing license at the time of application.
• Demonstrate at least 1.5 years of NICU Level III and PICU experience.
• Possess current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
• Have experience with NICU-specific procedures: A-line management, NG tube placement, surfactant administration.
• Be proficient in ventilator management and dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Be able to document clinical activities in EPIC system.
