Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized physical therapy services to inpatient rehabilitation patients, ensuring quality care and recovery. Collaborate with healthcare teams and families to develop and implement effective treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' physical condition and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions, including PT evaluations, reassessments, and treatments.
• Document patient progress and modify treatments as necessary using Meditech EMR.
• Participate in team conferences, family training, and home assessments.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, including dress code and safety guidelines.
• Engage with patients and staff professionally, demonstrating energy and team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Texas State License in Physical Therapy.
• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient rehab experience preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations, including bilingual skills (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal skills capable of handling multiple personalities in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with PT procedures such as evaluations, reassessment, and treatment planning.
• Ability to work daytime shifts, including weekends, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
