Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to patients within a hospital setting, ensuring optimal respiratory function and patient safety. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver effective treatment plans and support patient recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapies and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status to identify changes requiring intervention.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring safety and proper function.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately in medical records.

Qualifications:

• Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS, NRP, and RRT certifications required.
• Proven experience in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) setting.
• Strong understanding of respiratory therapy principles and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
