Job Summary:
Responsible for providing specialized respiratory care and therapy to patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. Collaborates with healthcare teams to assess, develop, and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' respiratory status and perform diagnostic tests.
• Administer treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and ventilator support.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapies accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment usage.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and documentation requirements.
• Maintain and calibrate respiratory therapy equipment regularly.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license and BLS certification.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
• Have current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Be willing to work night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotations.
• Open to review candidates with a valid VA license or other state license with temporary authorization.
