Job Summary:
Provides specialized critical care nursing to ICU patients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Supervises and coordinates nursing activities within the ICU to promote safety and optimal recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients according to established protocols and best practices.
• Supervise and guide ICU nursing staff, delegating duties appropriately to maintain efficient unit function.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, interpret vital signs, and adjust interventions as necessary to stabilize and improve patient conditions.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including certifications, documentation, and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least two years of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Hold AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Display effective communication and teamwork abilities.
