Job Summary:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg Neuro Nights to provide patient care during overnight shifts. The role involves managing a diverse patient population, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor patient conditions and document observations accurately in Epic charting system.
• Activate rapid response teams as needed to address patient deterioration.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Respond to unit calls and manage patient needs during night shifts.
• Float to similar units within scope as required, maintaining compliance with facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Have at least 1 year of recent RN experience in a Med Surg or Neuro setting.
• Hold active RN licensure and BLS certification; NIHSS required (pending approval).
• Demonstrate proficiency in Epic electronic health record system.
• Be able to work night shifts (3x12 hours) with weekend rotations.
• Possess the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
• CPI preferred but not mandatory.
