Job Summary:
Experienced ICU Registered Nurse needed for a 26-bed Medical ICU. Providing advanced patient care and supporting critical clinical interventions, the RN ensures optimal outcomes for complex medical cases.

Responsibilities:

• Lead patient care by managing critically ill patients with complex diagnoses such as cardiac arrest, sepsis, neuro surgical conditions, DKA, and GI Bleeds.
• Titrate and monitor all IV drips including pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, and insulin, adhering to protocols.
• Respond to codes and rapid response calls as the charge nurse, coordinating emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, residents, fellows, RTs, and PCTs to deliver comprehensive care.
• Interpret telemetry strips and utilize ICU equipment such as vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and Trach management systems effectively.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid ICU RN license with experience in a Medical ICU setting.
• Must have current BLS and ACLS certifications; CCRN preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to titrate drips such as pressors, sedation, and insulin.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and rapid decision-making skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
