Job Summary:
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting. Responsible for managing acute medical conditions, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Administer emergency care to patients across all age groups, including special populations such as cancer, sepsis, and behavioral health.
• Follow protocol during STEMI and stroke events, ensuring rapid response and compliance with clinical guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with all licensure, certification, and hospital policy requirements.

Qualifications:

• Require at least 2 years of ER nursing experience, with first-time travelers welcome.
• Hold valid BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency and experience with EPIC EMR system.
• Possess active nursing license in good standing that is in hand prior to submission.
• Be able to pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed).
• Must have experience working in STEMI and stroke care environments.
