Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Stepdown units, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through high-quality clinical interventions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate and efficient healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans tailored to their medical needs.
• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry data, promptly responding to any abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic medical records system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate care and ensure seamless patient transitions.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current state nursing credential.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent progressive care or stepdown nursing experience.
• Demonstrated competency in telemetry monitoring and ventilator management.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
