Job Summary:
Assists in the operating room by performing routine and delegated duties, focusing on neuro, spine, and orthopedic surgeries to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for neuro, spine, and orthopedic procedures.
• Assist surgeons during procedures by handling tools and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Follow hospital policies and standards to ensure safe and efficient surgical workflows.
• Monitor patient status and provide support to the surgical team as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of surgical equipment post-procedure.
• Comply with all on-call and shift schedules, including weekends and float assignments.

Qualifications:

• Valid CST licensure (NBSTSA) required.
• Current BLS certification from AHA.
• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience, with strong neuro, spine, and total joint surgery background.
• Experience with Neuro, Spine, Ortho surgeries, and DaVinci system required.
• Ability to work variable shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
