Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of critically ill neonates. Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication, treatments, and interventions according to established protocols.
• Monitor vital signs and neurological status, documenting findings accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Educate families on infant care, treatment plans, and feeding procedures.
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, licensing, and certification requirements.
• Ensure adherence to infection control standards and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid, in-hand license in the applicable state, with pending licenses accepted if in progress.
• Possess BLS certification; NRP and Dr. Browns Infant Driven Feeding Certification required prior to or at start.
• Demonstrate minimum clinical experience in neonatal or pediatric care.
• Ability to work night shifts (4x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
• Proven ability to follow complex medical guidelines and protocols.
• Must pass background and reference checks, with all certifications verified.
