Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to emergency room patients, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions. Supervises and coordinates the activities of nursing staff and collaborates with the healthcare team to deliver safe, effective patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients quickly and accurately to determine the severity of their condition.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment data and clinical standards.
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patient responses.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff, ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Document patient care activities thoroughly using the EPIC electronic medical record system.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent emergency room or acute care experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Demonstrates strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
