Job Summary:
Provide expert emergency nursing care to patients in a high-volume and fast-paced hospital environment. Ensure accurate assessment, treatment, and documentation of patient conditions while adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient conditions promptly and determine priority of care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring proper documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in Epic electronic health record system.
• Follow hospital protocols and safety procedures, including certification renewals and badge compliance.
• Provide compassionate patient education and support during emergency interventions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NJ license or Compact State RN license.
• Possess at least three years of recent Emergency Department experience.
• Demonstrate at least one completed travel assignment.
• Have current Epic electronic health record experience.
• Maintain AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; NIHSS or equivalent expiring certificates are unacceptable.
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced emergency settings preferred.
