Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in Epic documentation and possess recent ED experience.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient assessment, care planning, and treatment in the emergency department.
• Utilize Epic electronic health records to accurately document patient interactions and interventions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols to maintain a secure environment for staff and patients.
• Complete all required certifications and training prior to start date.
• Participate in unit orientation and ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid NJ License or Compact nursing license.
• Possess a BSN degree from an accredited program.
• Have at least three years of recent emergency department experience.
• Demonstrate recent travel contract experience in a high-volume setting.
• Maintain current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications; pending or soon-to-expire certifications are not accepted.
• Have EPIC electronic medical record experience.
