Job Summary:

They will perform echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and monitoring cardiac conditions. The Echo Tech will operate ultrasound equipment and provide high-quality imaging results under physician supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive echocardiograms on patients according to established protocols.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and optimize imaging parameters for clarity.
• Document patient information and imaging data accurately in the system.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions.
• Adhere to safety and infection control procedures during all procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnosis and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in echocardiography.
• Hold current AHA BLS certification.
• Be registered or registry eligible as an RDCS or CCI credentialed ultrasound technologist.
• Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and ultrasound principles.
