Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring, ensuring their safety and comfort while adhering to clinical standards. This role involves managing multiple high-risk patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patient cardiac status continuously.
• Administer medications, including IV antibiotics and Heparin drips, following physician orders.
• Perform clinical procedures such as wound vac management, tube feeds, and insertion of urinary catheters.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on medical conditions and care instructions.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner).

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a med-surg or telemetry unit.
• Proven telemetry competency with the ability to manage 6-7 patients.
• Urology and bowel care experience highly preferred.
• Strong communication and positive, engaging personality.
• BLS certification required.
