Job Summary:
The Cardiac Cath Lab RN is responsible for providing specialized nursing care during cardiovascular procedures, including catheterizations and electrophysiology studies. The role involves circulating, scrubbing, and monitoring cases to ensure patient safety and procedure success.

Responsibilities:

• Circulate, scrub, and monitor patient during cardiac catheterization and EP procedures.
• Prepare and set up the procedure room with necessary supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and technical staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including infection control and medication administration.
• Complete required documentation and patient assessments accurately.
• Maintain active certifications and licenses, including BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio or compact RN license at the time of submission.
• Possess at least 18 months of combined permanent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or EP.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Provide a recent manager, supervisor, or director reference from within the past 12 months.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate with acceptable scores during orientation.
• Be nicotine free (except nurses and CSTs), with negative 10 Panel + Nicotine drug screens within 12 months.
