Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units. Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, administer treatments, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage cardiac tele monitoring.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and perform EKG exams to ensure accurate patient monitoring.
• Manage peripheral lines, PICC lines, and titrate drips as needed.
• Maintain compliance with all unit protocols, including float responsibilities across campuses.
• Document patient information accurately in the EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license and current state license in hand.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Proven experience with cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, and EKG interpretation.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; NIH certification preferred.
• Strong proficiency in peripheral line and PICC line management.
• Able to pass the required EKG exam and compliance modules.
