Job Summary:
This Medical Surgical - Pediatric RN position involves delivering specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting. The role emphasizes patient education, managing diabetic patients, and ensuring quality care according to established protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment plans, and medication administration.
• Monitor and manage diabetic patients, including insulin pumps and diabetic protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current registration.
• Pediatric nursing experience or clinical background.
• Experience with diabetic patient management and pump therapy preferred.
• Strong patient education and communication skills.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
• Diabetic certification or related expertise desirable.
