Job Summary:
The Cath Lab / EP Tech is responsible for supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures, including cath lab and hybrid OR cases. This role involves scrub, monitor, and assist with complex cardiac interventions, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile field for cath lab and EP procedures.
• Assist cardiologists during interventions such as PCI, device implants, and peripheral studies.
• Operate and monitor imaging equipment, including X-ray and fluoroscopy systems.
• Ensure accurate documentation of procedure details and patient information in EMR systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Collaborate with the team, including nurses, radiologic technologists, and physicians, to facilitate smooth case flow.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting.
• ARRT certification for Rad Techs or WV licensure; BLS and ACLS required.
• Knowledge of EP procedures, IABP, IVUS, and familiarity with Acist injector is preferred.
• Ability to operate X-ray equipment and support complex cardiac interventions.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety, sterile techniques, and patient monitoring.
• Excellent team communication and multitasking skills.
