Job Summary:
The Transporter supports the efficient movement of case carts, instruments, and vendor trays across hospital and sterile processing locations to ensure surgical readiness and workflow continuity. This full-time, onsite role facilitates transportation within various departments, supporting sterile processing and perioperative teams.

Responsibilities:

• Transfer case carts, instruments, and vendor trays between processing sites to maintain timely instrument flow.
• Support transportation activities across the main hospital, mobile unit, Spanos Court SPD, and STCH.
• Coordinate with Sterile Processing, OR, and ancillary departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate workflows and adhere to standardized procedures for material transport.
• Ensure reliable and prompt transportation workflows, adjusting to shifts in instrument volume.
• Follow all safety protocols and compliance standards during transportation activities.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid State License required at the time of submission.
• Have at least 2 years of relevant transportation experience in a healthcare environment.
• Demonstrate ability to work onsite across multiple locations, including travel up to 50 miles.
• Hold current AHA certifications and provide proof at submission.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Be able to pass background checks and drug screening, with prior disclosure of any DUI or background hits.
