Job Summary:

Experienced registered nurse responsible for providing specialized care to IMC/PCU/Stepdown patients, including adolescents to geriatrics. The role involves managing complex medical conditions with a focus on cardiac, stroke, respiratory, and mixed medical patients, ensuring continuous telemetry monitoring and adherence to clinical protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' conditions, recognizing signs of deterioration and escalating care as needed.
• Administer medications, including titrating cardiac drips, and document interventions accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain continuous telemetry monitoring and respond promptly to alarms or alerts.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and patient care guidelines.
• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatments in the electronic health record system.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid RN license for Georgia or a Compact state active at the time of submission.
• Have at least 1 year of recent ICU/PCU/Stepdown experience; first-time travelers accepted.
• Hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac drip titration.
• Exhibit strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, neuro/stroke, respiratory, and cardiac environment.
