Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care for neuro-progressive or ICU patients in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Ensure patient safety, deliver high-quality clinical interventions, and adhere to facility protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and nursing scope.
• Monitor patient vital signs and neurological status continuously.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control policies.
• Complete neuro-progressive competency exams and skills checklists upon offer.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent neuro-progressive, step-down, or ICU experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic electronic medical records.
• Be able to pass a neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist.
• Exhibit strong critical thinking and patient management skills.
• Be flexible to float to other units if needed.
