Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced environment. Ensure patient safety and comfort while managing a diverse caseload.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments, including titratable drips when applicable.
• Monitor patient progress using ICU-grade monitors and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system efficiently for documentation and orders.
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing coverage.

Qualifications:

• Current unexpired driver's license and valid nursing license.
• Proven Med/Surg experience with a strong background in patient care across various diagnoses.
• BLS certification required; NIHSS required for RNs and LPNs; ACLS and PALS recommended.
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips and utilize ICU-grade monitors.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system.
• High flexibility to float between units and adapt to shift scheduling.
