Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide occupational therapy services to adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans aimed at improving patient function and independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' physical and functional capabilities to determine appropriate therapy interventions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that align with patient needs and facility protocols.
• Document patient evaluations, progress reports, discharge notes, and other clinical records accurately in Meditech system.
• Perform outpatient evaluations, focusing on upper extremity orthopedics and neuro cases.
• Administer inpatient evaluations and assist in transitioning patients through treatment phases.
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients to support recovery goals.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid OT degree from an accredited program.
• Maintain current BLS certification.
• Possess at least 2 years of experience in occupational therapy.
• Demonstrate proficiency in evaluating and documenting patient progress and reports.
• Able to independently execute assessments and provide comprehensive reports to facilitate ongoing care.
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient adult therapy preferred.
