Job Summary:


The Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist performs diagnostic procedures under the supervision of an Interventional Cardiologist, primarily in invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and peripheral vascular studies. They gather critical data to assist in accurate anatomical and physiological diagnoses for patients.



Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic examinations in invasive and noninvasive cardiology settings according to physician requests.
  
• Collect and record subjective data to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  
• Maintain proficiency and certification in relevant cardiovascular procedures and safety protocols.
  
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care during procedures.
  
• Adhere to facility policies, including dress code, EMR documentation, and safety standards.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold an Associate Degree or completion of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program or accredited Allied Health Program.
  
• Possess a valid certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS).
  
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the cardiovascular specialty.
  
• Maintain current certifications in BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
  
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of invasive cardiovascular procedures and patient monitoring.
