Job Summary:

Provide compassionate and skilled CNA/PCT support in a fast-paced hospital setting, assisting with patient care and ensuring comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Assist nursing staff with daily patient care activities in the Interventional Care Unit.
• Monitor patients using telemetry and other cardiac life-support equipment.
• Support with post-operative care for vascular and cardiac surgery patients.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech Expanse EMR system.
• Float to IMCU, PCNT, and Med-Surg units as needed, maintaining flexibility.
• Adhere to hospital protocols for safety, infection control, and patient privacy.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of CNA/PCT experience in a hospital environment.
• Valid VA license or Compact license required at submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac monitors.
• Strong critical thinking, dependability, and teamwork skills.
• Basic proficiency with EMR systems, especially Meditech Expanse.
