Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients in a travel assignment setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, compassionate, and high-quality maternal care throughout labor and delivery processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor fetal and maternal health to detect any complications.
• Administer medications and interventions following clinical protocols.
• Educate patients and family members on labor progression, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Proven ability to manage high-risk obstetric cases effectively.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
