Job Summary:


Seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a 13-week travel assignment in a fast-paced hospital setting. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care on a telemetry unit, adhering to unit policies and safety standards.



Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patient conditions using wireless telemetry equipment and vital sign machines.
  
• Perform neurovascular checks, promote ambulation, and implement orthopedic precautions.
  
• Administer medications and manage pain control according to hospital protocols.
  
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and update patient care plans.
  
• Document patient findings and interventions accurately in Meditech EMR system.
  
• Respond promptly to patient emergencies and collaborate in trauma and stroke cases.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold valid RN license and current healthcare provider BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
• Possess minimum of 1-year recent acute care telemetry experience.
  
• Demonstrate proficiency in neuro/stroke, trauma, and orthopedic patient care.
  
• Exhibit a positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills.
  
• NIH certification and trauma/ortho experience preferred.
