At TactStaff Education, nothing makes us happier than seeing educators return for another school year. We’re excited to spotlight Lauren, a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is beginning her second year with TactStaff.
After completing a successful first year in a contract school-based role, Lauren chose to continue her journey with TactStaff, and we’re honored to be part of her career.
Finding Flexibility While Making an Impact
As a virtual school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, Lauren enjoys the balance that contract work provides.
“I enjoy building relationships with my students, collaborating with educators, while experiencing the flexibility and variety that contracting provides.”
Like many contract education professionals, Lauren has found that working in schools allows her to make a meaningful difference in students’ lives while enjoying the flexibility to build a career that fits her goals.
Why Lauren Chose to Return to TactStaff
When asked what she enjoys most about working with TactStaff, Lauren pointed to the consistent support she receives from her recruiter and the team.
“I’ve truly enjoyed working with TactStaff because of the support and communication they provide throughout the hiring process and throughout my school year. They are always available to answer questions, provide support, and make me feel valued as a professional.”
At TactStaff, we believe every educator deserves to feel supported—not just before their assignment begins, but throughout the entire school year.
Advice for Future Contract Educators
For professionals considering a school-based contract position, Lauren’s advice is simple: know your worth, ask questions, and advocate for yourself throughout the process. She also encourages educators to establish clear expectations, communicate consistently, and build strong relationships with their school team to help create a successful experience.
