Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Travel RN MedSurg to provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting. The role requires bedside nursing skills, familiarity with telemetry, and certification compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg environment, including telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation.
• Perform specialized procedures such as IV insertions, wound care, drain management, Foley insertions, and central line dressing changes.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech Expanse system and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, including unit secretaries and LNAs, to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Participate in bedside shift reports, hourly safety rounding, and personal connection initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Adhere to hospital-specific guidelines, policies, and dress code standards.

Qualifications:

• Valid active RN license required at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of MedSurg nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Certified in BLS and IV therapy.
• Demonstrate advanced skills, including wound care, drain management, and telemetry.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and rotating holidays.
