Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will provide specialized respiratory care and support to pediatric patients in high-acuity units, including NICU, PICU, and CVICU. The role involves working within a fast-paced environment, adhering to strict certification and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor pediatric patients' respiratory status and provide timely interventions.
• Administer and manage respiratory therapies, including ventilator support and oxygen therapy.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, assessments, and patient progress.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, certifications, and safety standards.
• Complete required modules and certifications as mandated by facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Ohio RRT license.
• Possess at least two years of recent hospital experience in pediatric critical care, NICU, PICU, or CVICU.
• Be certified in NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS, all active and in hand at the time of submission.
• Have experience working with high-acuity pediatric patients (Level 4 care).
• Demonstrate ability to work 3x12s or 4x12s, with flexibility to float to multiple NICUs and rehab facilities.
• Provide two recent manager or supervisor references from within the past 12 months.
