Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Endoscopy RN to provide specialized care in a busy acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the endoscopy/GI department, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative and postoperative care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in patient condition during procedures.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes in Epic/GMED systems.
• Follow facility policies for on-call duties, weekend rotations, and emergency response during hurricane season.
• Comply with licensure, certification, and local travel guidelines, including SC license, BLS, and ACLS.

Qualifications:

• Current SC RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a procedural or endoscopy setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to on-call and weekend shifts.
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques, patient safety, and emergency procedures.
• Willingness to float within scope when needed and comply with travel regulations.
