Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN to provide specialized patient care in the GI/endoscopy unit. The nurse will support scheduled procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-procedure assessments and verify patient readiness for endoscopic procedures.
• Administer medications, including IV therapies, in accordance with protocols.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, ensuring optimal visualization and patient stability.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond swiftly to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
• Document procedures, patient responses, and post-procedure instructions accurately.
• Maintain sterility and cleanliness of equipment and procedural areas.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with current state licensure.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of endoscopy or GI nursing experience.
• Proven ability to perform IV insertions and manage IV therapies.
• Strong understanding of endoscopic procedures and patient safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team in a fast-paced environment.
