Job Summary:
Provide direct patient care in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings, supporting healthcare teams in delivering compassionate and efficient services to residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Monitor vital signs, record input/output, and collect specimens as directed.
• Support invasive procedures such as PICC line insertions by assisting licensed professionals.
• Provide bedside care for patients requiring specialized respiratory or neurological monitoring.
• Ensure patient safety by recognizing changes in condition and promptly reporting to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and medical records.

Qualifications:

• Current CNA license in Maryland or a Compact State.
• At least 1 year of relevant healthcare experience; 2 years for HICU.
• Certification in BLS/AHA CPR.
• Knowledge of vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection.
• Ability to float within various units and adapt to multiple patient care settings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to establish trust with patients and team members.
