Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized patient care in a busy hospital setting. This role involves floating across various units, including MS, Tele, PCU, PACU, and Stepdown, based on staffing needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, comprehensive care to ICU patients and other units as assigned.
• Assess patients' conditions, including performing EKG assessments and obtaining necessary certifications prior to shift.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to patient emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Adhere to hospital policies regarding patient safety, infection control, and documentation standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility in floating to overflow units and respond to staffing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid California RN license in good standing.
• Have at least 2 years of ICU experience, preferably in a large hospital setting.
• Hold current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications.
• Demonstrate proficiency with PA line insertions and assessments.
• Be able to pass a passing score on EKG assessments during orientation.
• Willing to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on 12-hour shifts.
