Job Summary:

Ultrasound tech will perform diagnostic imaging exams as part of a multidisciplinary care team, supporting accurate assessment and timely treatment. The role requires strong clinical judgment, patient-focused communication, and timely documentation of imaging results.

Responsibilities:

• Perform echocardiography and ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging, explaining procedures and addressing comfort and safety needs.
• Maintain sterile and equipment-ready practices, including proper probe care and troubleshooting.
• Capture and store diagnostic-quality images and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.
• Assist with clinical workflow by responding to exam requests and coordinating as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards, including infection control and radiation/ultrasound safety practices.

Qualifications:

• Hold active licensure/verification required for ultrasound practice.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Provide proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or appropriate declination documentation.
• Demonstrate ability to complete required ultrasound credentialing within required timeframes.
• Pass/complete drug screening and background screening processes as permitted to begin service.
• Show proficiency operating ultrasound equipment and producing diagnostic-quality imaging.
