Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages. Ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn through thorough monitoring and support.

Responsibilities:

• Assess maternal and fetal health status regularly during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor electronic fetal heart rates and manage obstetric procedures.
• Educate and support expectant mothers throughout labor and postpartum recovery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in medical records.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid and current RN license.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in labor and delivery.
• Hold BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications.
• Preferably experienced with Meditech EMR and postpartum care.
• Demonstrate adaptability, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work night shifts and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
