Job Summary:
The Medical Assistant (CMA / MA) provides clinical and administrative support within a healthcare clinic, ensuring efficient patient flow and quality care delivery. They collaborate with providers and the healthcare team to meet patient and organizational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage patient flow by performing standard rooming procedures and assisting with patient questions.
• Administer immunizations, injections, and medications under provider direction.
• Collect laboratory specimens and perform basic clinic laboratory tests.
• Support clinical operations such as documentation, inventory management, and supply stocking.
• Communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team regarding treatment plans and follow-up.
• Perform additional duties such as phlebotomy, x-ray support (if certified), and telephone support as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or RMA certification with on-the-job experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Previous clinical experience demonstrating patient care skills.
• Ability to perform clinical tasks such as injections, specimen collection, and phlebotomy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
