Job Summary:

Provide specialized speech therapy services to patients in a hospital setting, focusing on assessments and treatments for swallowing, voice, and language disorders. Ensure quality care while adhering to facility policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients through assessments for swallowing, voice, and language capabilities.
• Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies utilizing specialized equipment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and treatment goals.
• Comply with hospital guidelines, policies, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold CCC-SLP certification and valid state licensure.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Demonstrate advanced skills in swallowing and communication assessments.
• Able to perform Modified Barium Swallow studies effectively.
• Exhibit strong communication and documentation skills.
• Flexible to float between outpatient and inpatient settings as needed.
