Job Summary:

The Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer position involves performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This outpatient role requires technical expertise in vascular and echocardiographic imaging, with responsibilities including patient preparation and equipment operation.

Responsibilities:

• Perform adult echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds in outpatient settings.
• Review patient history and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, including PACS and Philips systems.
• Accurately capture and analyze imaging data, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain adherence to safety protocols, including compliance with the Pass Fail EKG exam.
• Document findings thoroughly and communicate results to healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid RDCS, RVT, RCS, or RVS registration from ARDMS or CCI.
• Possess minimum 2 years of adult vascular and echocardiography experience.
• Be registered with both Echo and Vascular credentials, or have echo experience with RVS certification.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC EMR system and PACS.
• Be able to work independently and confidently in outpatient outpatient settings.
• Be flexible to float between multiple locations as needed.
