Job Summary:


Provides expert nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring adherence to clinical standards and patient safety. Leads and supervises nursing staff, coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal patient outcomes.



Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients, continuously assessing their condition and modifying interventions accordingly.
  
• Supervise and guide assigned nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately to ensure efficient unit operations.
  
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  
• Educate patients and families about treatment options, recovery processes, and health maintenance.
  
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure seamless transition of care and continuity for ICU patients.
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with hospital policies.
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
  
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  
• Prior experience in an ICU or critical care setting strongly desired.
  
• Valid BLS certification, with ACLS and PALS certification required.
  
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership skills.
  
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
