Job Summary:
Provide specialized respiratory care to patients, including evaluation, treatment, and emergency response, in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory treatments and evaluate protocols to ensure proper patient care.
• Deliver medications via aerosol and metered dose inhalers accurately and efficiently.
• Respond swiftly to rapid response, arrest, or STAT situations, maintaining artificial airways and performing cardiac and respiratory life support.
• Set up and maintain oxygen therapy according to established protocols.
• Document clinical interventions and patient responses promptly and accurately.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards, including certifications and licensing.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Hold active RRT certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Maintain current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Have an active Michigan/MI state license.
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency response and critical care procedures.
• Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
