Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to patients in various ICU and intermediate care units, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. Supports a fast-paced environment by floating across multiple units based on patient needs and institutional policies.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans for critical and intermediate care patients.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols and protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Float to various ICU and intermediate care units, adapting to different clinical environments efficiently.
• Maintain certifications and adhere to facility policies, including safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid and active RN license, with pending licenses accepted if in hand by the Wednesday before the start date.
• Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Demonstrate minimum of one year of recent ICU or intermediate care nursing experience.
• Have Epic electronic health record system experience.
• Be able to work night shifts (4x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00).
• Comply with travel and facility policies, including float and mileage restrictions.
