Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the OB/GYN specialty, ensuring high standards of patient safety and comfort. Supervises and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal maternal and gynecological healthcare, supporting patient education and discharge planning.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health status by collecting relevant data pertinent to OB/GYN conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote health, safety, and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, and families to coordinate care and provide health education.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure desired outcomes.
• Delegate tasks appropriately to team members and supervise nursing staff activities.
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and patient understanding of treatment regimens.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Experience in OB/GYN or maternal health nursing preferred.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
