Job Summary:
Provides specialized nursing care to obstetric and gynecologic patients in a hospital setting, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes and adherence to clinical standards. Supervises and mentors nursing staff while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ health status related to obstetric and gynecologic needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment data.
• Administer medications and treatments pertinent to OB/GYN patients.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Coordinate care activities and delegate tasks to nursing team members effectively.
• Participate in patient discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Possess relevant experience in obstetrics and gynecology nursing preferred.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Acquire and sustain AHA-ACLS certification; AHA-NRP certification is a plus.
