Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes before, during, and after surgery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' needs and develop individualized perioperative care plans.
• Prepare operating rooms with appropriate supplies and ensure sterile techniques are maintained.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during procedures, ensuring all equipment functions correctly.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any intraoperative changes.
• Educate patients about preoperative and postoperative instructions and care.
• Document all clinical activities and patient responses accurately in medical records.

Qualifications:

• Current valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Proven experience in operating room or perioperative nursing.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, surgical procedures, and patient safety protocols.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergent situations and maintain composure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
