Job Details

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. Support patients through childbirth and ensure their safety and comfort in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess laboring patients and monitor fetal and maternal well-being continuously.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on childbirth, recovery, and postpartum care.
• Use electronic medical records to document patient progress and clinical activities accurately.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid RN license for the state of North Carolina.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Possess current BLS and NRP certifications.
• Show excellent clinical judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Maintain strong bedside manner and patient advocacy.
