Job Details

Job Summary:
Providing specialized nursing care in the operating room environment, ensuring patient safety, and supporting surgical teams during procedures. The RN will be responsible for perioperative patient management and maintaining sterile protocols throughout surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with surgical teams to prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and anesthesia levels during surgeries.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure adherence to infection control standards.
• Assist with patient positioning and specimen handling as needed.
• Document procedure details and patient responses accurately.
• Support post-operative care and ensure patient recovery protocols are followed.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of OR experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in circulating and scrubbing techniques in the operating room.
• Possess current BLS certification and relevant perioperative certifications.
• Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to adapt to multiple surgical specialties, including trauma, neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, and cataracts.
